Sue Chantler: – Senior Lecturer in Autism. Sue is the course leader for the Certificate of Higher Education in Autism as well as the route leader for the MA in Autism. Previously, Sue was the headteacher of The Rowan School, a LA primary special school for children with complex communication difficulties, in Sheffield. Her area of research interest is in how schools, colleges and universities can work most effectively to enable children and young people with autism to have a positive and enabling educational experience.

Dr. Nick Hodge: – Principal Lecturer in Research Development.  Nick’s professional background was in supporting disabled children and their families in schools for over 15 years.  His research interests focus around the issues that impact on the education, development and well-being of disabled people and their families. Nick is also the Leader for Disability Studies and Inclusive Education Research Group and he teaches on the MA Autism as well as supervising doctoral students on the EdD and PhD programme. For more information on Nick click here.
